Become a Wise Warrior Mentor
The Young Warrior Woman Program supports vulnerable young women 15-25 years of age transitioning from out of home care into independent living, as well as young women who simply lack the support of a stable caring adult to guide them on their path to adulthood. It is designed to reduce the stress involved in leaving out of home care and/or learning to live independently. We call our mentees Young Warriors.
Each Young Warrior is supported by a group of mentors who we call Wise Warriors. These are caring, positive, and stable female role models from the local community who provide support, guidance and impart the wisdom of life experience.
